LATEST TH update

hi all, Apparently it is some form of virusesque attack on another website hosted at the same server, the technical guys are apparently on it.

hi everyone ever since it went back up this last time the Th has been suffering bad bugginess. Derek has been informed all we can do i'm afraid is wait for the techies to do their thing.

I'll open the tea room up for general posts so please feel welcome ot continue any discussion you were invovled in on the TH.

Hi,

If by tea house you mean the proper TH then it is down i'm afraid we are waiting on the techies to fix it (again).

If you mean this forum then when the TH is down aside from the news area the rest of the board is closed to posting when the TH is down and i notice (Ie am not at work, uni or asleep) then i open it up for posting. :)

Okay Te aHouse is complety stuffed again all part of this DDoS? Attack on the server, the attck is to another website but we have been seriously affected as well.

At the moment we are waiting for help from a friend who is technically minded, it will probably be a day or two till we are running again.

In the meantime please make yourselves comfortable here, and discussions you get into i will promise to copy over to the TH once it is up and running properly again.

No change, but there is some sort of progress, derek is working with some more technically minded members to not only fix this current problem but also to update our phpbb software (possibly) which hopefully will reduce the security risk all around to the TH

Any news i'll share here as i get it.

Not sure i think olly is helping, other than that i've been a little distracted by offline stuff this week.

As far as updates go pretty much same as before. As far as i'm aware.

Hi,

The Tea House seems to be back up again.

For the meantime the Tea Room will remain open for a while, and the news and announcments area will remain open period; given the bugginess at least we all have soemwhere to come and report problems if and when they occur.
